Guido Bartorelli is an Associate Professor of History of Contemporary Art at the University of Padua (Italy). He deals with historical avant-gardes, on which he has published the books Numeri innamorati. Sintesi e dinamiche del Secondo Futurismo (Turin, 2001) and Fernand Léger cubista 1909-1914 (Padua, 20112). Films by artists and video art are the topics of the book Studi sull’immagine in movimento. Dalle avanguardie a YouTube (Padua, 20172). He dedicated exhibitions to recent artistic trends, such as ArtBeat. Arte Narrativa Videoclip (with Fabriano Fabbri, Bologna-Milan-Rome, 1999-2000) and Art//Tube. L’arte alla prova della creatività amatoriale (Padua, 2010). For Palazzo Pretorio Foundation in Cittadella (Padua) he curated exhibitions such as Alberto Biasi: gli ambienti (2016), Bruno Munari: aria | terra (2017), Sirio Luginbühl: film sperimentali (with Lisa Parolo, 2018).
